Sounds play a larger role than most people expect, It's usually noticeable after a little while of playing without it. Your brain will catch on to shots being fired in the vicinity behind you, hearing your teammates call for medic or thanks somewhere on the map, uber calls, bombs, and so on. I reccomend you work on improving while keeping sound on.

Gored looks the best, Sinshine probably plays the best.
well here's the problem, nr left their roamer at home!
Listen spud we get you have a monopoly on tf2 already there's no need to show off
fatswimdudeok assuming its a real question and not just making fun of pubbers...
FUNKe makes some general tf2 discussion/gameplay content. Has some funny lobby highlights uploaded but no UGC experience.
I mean i'm on a silver 6s and silver HL team but I guess that doesn't count
SideshowHistorically the 6s teams have won 2-1. Can the Youtubers do better than the pubstars?!
short answer: no
long answer: nooooooooooooo
I've had a question that's bugged me for a while,
I play scout frequently and sometimes i'll be close range shooting an enemy and I'll hit a grand total of 9 damage at point blank range. I've always wondered what causes things like this, since it's what tends to make me feel like other scouts potentially outdamage me in. This never tends to be an issue ingame where an uncommn 1v1 happens and a chipshot can be overridden by teammate damage or proper dodging, but in a place like mge it just feels like it isnt even worth trying for the rest of that life.
I can only assume it's caused by twitching or aiming JUST off the edge of the hitbox making a single stray bullet hit them rather than aiming your crosshair at them. I use 11.7in per 360.
I ask this out of curiosity as it was a problem which once made me pretty frustrated, but i managed to improve it by adjusting my sens/360 and playing less aggressively, however i've had several scout friends also offhandedly get upset when it happens to them and i'd like to look into it and come up with a clear way to help them through the funk i was once in
You know how when you hit someone your crosshair will turn red? Where can i find the file to edit that? Mine seems to be off center with the middle now and i need to fix it.
Where is the vaccinator icon located in the res files?

I need to move it (and resize, if possible) but i'm unsure of where it's located.
ALSO, is it possible to make the reserve ammo text be team colored? I know how to change its color, but i'm not sure if there's a way to make it teambased?
alosecwhats wrong with the blue snowball?
My house is echoey so unless i'm bending towards the mic it sounds really reverby and unclear. This and it sits in front of my screen potentially blocking my view of the bottom of the screen at times.
I'm looking for a headset mic so i can freely play an not need to worry about mic location.
The only microphone i currently have is a blue snowball, which, while nice, sits on the table in front of me. I was thinking i'd pick up a mic i could attach to my headset (not buy a new headset, though.)
Any decent suggestions? I'd be using it for whenever i'm ingame/mumble etc chatting.
Whatever price works, but i'm not trying to go all out, just something decent enough to get the job done without too many issues. so, i guess below $50 would be ideal.
Sexy_Vanilla_FreshnessYo yo yo this dude wrecks in MGE no joke he literally defecated on my corpse. I've played multiple lobbies with him and he knows how to play well with a team and adapts quickly.
I'd bump this mofo faster than you could twerk twice
you made an account just to post this...?
Also thanks for the advice. I'll probably go ahead and start checking out some POVs aswell as look back at my own games to check on what i can improve. thanks guys
Teapot_imo playing scrims with your team is the best way to practice 6s demo. Since you say you've only played pugs and lobbies, you should think about looking to join a team.
I'm already on a team, which is why i wanted to kick in gear some practice. I did highlander demo last season and i'm going into 6s demo with some of the members this season. I just meant in terms of 6s i've done lobs/pugs, we've got a scrim next week.
I've always loved playing demoman, to the point i'm pretty much always pubstomping as him. However i feel like i'm nothing to write home about in a competitive setting, and was wondering what some of the best training ways would be. Not just muscle memory, but i mean mental preparation. Knowing your jobs and priorities, how far is overextending, what are ideal config settings, and so on.
Warhuryeah made a nice dead bible focused on demomaning, but outside of playing some pugs or lobbies i don't feel like i've got a good grasp of how i should be spending my time when i want to practice.
Are there any favorable breakdowns from experienced demo mains out there that would be good sources, or maybe any personal advice you'd have about doings 6s demo? Oh, and any decent training map is welcome too. If this is in the wrong section or has already been discussed recently i apologize.
