SevinAnother quick update:

I remembered I can simulate resolutions via the launch options in Steam, so I've managed to fix some of your problems Dre. I'm gonna be making a sweep the next few days trying to find some problems areas for 4:3 users and add a 4:3 version of the HUD when I'm done. I may even be able to just add it as an option in 4Plug to make it 4:3, makes it quite simple.

Great to hear!The only thing that bothers me the most at the moment, is Lobby chat.It's literally unreadable lol.Hope it get's fixed in the upcoming patch.
Also, the idea about different resolutions in the 4Plug is also a great thing.You could add more and more features to it, and make people decide, which one they prefer.

Now for some more MvM related stuff.
When you bought Rage upgrade for heavy, rage box it self is default one.I believe you just forgot to change it :p

SevinGuys, I need your help in deciding something real quick:

I've been dissatisfied with my Market Deco font I've been using as the main for some time. I think it looks really good in some situations, but not when it must be big. For this reason, I've gotten a new main font called Neutra (I hope no one else is using this). I like the font, but my main concern is that it's too bold. Here is the loadout panel with the new font:

There are 3 versions of this font, the one for the "Loadout", "Stats" and "Demoman" labels is the biggest, boldest, all-caps version. The label of the actual items are another version that is also big and bold but has subtle lowercases. And the thinnest (though still fairly thick), is seen in the passive attributes section below the character. It's quite a bit thinner than the others and has lowercases.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions, please let me know!

Looks good for me.I'd like it to be implemented.

MVM is something I haven't really cared about until the new MVM update because I never play it. I really appreciate all the reports. I can already tell you that the damage flash around the crosshair is already possible and integrated into my HUD. I assume you're talking about fog's crosshairs BTW, as that's the one that has this integration.

I guess I forgot to add the instructions in the readme however, so I'll update it with instructions when I finish here.

Navigate to your scripts folder and open up HudAnimations_tf.txt. The first entry should be DamagedPlayer. There are instructions underneath there.

No problem, I'm here to help you tweak your Hud, not brag about how your Hud sucks or anything.
Got few more things to share.
When you reach 100k+ damage, it doesn't go over 100k.It just counts the damage, but without the hundred thousand in the beggining.So let's say I have 150k dmg, it will show 50k.

Another one is killstreaks.If you have a killstreak kit attached to a wrench and when you pull out your primary gun, killstreak counter will blend into primary weapon's ammo.

Also, I belive it's because of my 4:3 resoluion, but could it be possible to move info about engi's building just a tiny bit to the right?Becuase half of the health is cut off.It's a minor thing, but still.

Hey!
Just started using your Hud, it's pretty much ideal, but few tweaks here and there could be made in my opinion.Also these suggestions will be only from MvM.Lately I've been into MvM alot and kind of forgot about pubs etc.
Let's start out with Refund Credit message at the end of the round.I think you should move it a bit lower, possibly below the Bonus credits.

Second thing is while pressing TAB to open the scoreboard, robots which are left to defeat is really off to the right.You can't even see half of them.

And to sum up, whilst being in lobby, chat size is really small.It's really hard to read the messages.Increase of letter size would be great.

On a side note, would it be possible to move Current cash and the cash that's on the ground to the left?Ideally below health number.Maybe make it a selectable option in the GUI, because there might be people that like the current cash position and such.
Also, I'm using Windows and 3:4 resolution.
And the final suggestion would be a damage indicator around the crosshair.It could be a small and thin circle that would flash as soon as you deal damage.I'm sure that you know what I mean.

Edit: Forgot to mention.While you're killing the Giant robots, health above their head is in dark gray colour.Most of the time it's hard to see in the dark area, could you possibly change it to white or any other bright colour?

Also MvM needs a bit of tweaking.Decided to try out the new map.Connected to the server and as soon as I've opened scoreboard, hud crashed.Just pointing it out that MvM's scoreboard also should be updated.

TreshDreAfter recent Tf2 update, hud tends to crash the game.Crashes right after first loading screen is over (Before main menu).Try deleting scoreboard.res and see what happens. VERY WRONG IM STUPID DONT DO THIS OK IM STUPID

EDIT: Try deleting this instead WaveCompleteSummaryPanel.res

It worked, but scoreboard is now messed up a bit.There's this new "Killstreak" option displaying on your scoreboard.So Goat will have to squeeze everything together.

I'm not sure why the first one is happening but I'll look into the files, does it also happen when you don't use min_mode?
The second one is a problem with min_mode as well, haven't optimized all of the charge metres for min_mode since it is a load of work...
The third one is not possible from my experience, you just have to widen the player lists and then increase the name width but it requires a lot of repositioning etc.
What do you mean by 1080p version? The HUD was made on 1920x1080 and works best in the 16:9 aspect ratio.
I got loads of exams and some last officials and scrims for this season so a new update will take more time now.

Ah I see.So mostly it's minmode's fault.Well, atleast we got that out of the way.And by 1080p I meant something else, but it was my fault, I wrote one thing, but thought about completely another thing.The 1280x1024 resolution with aspect ratio of 4:3.

Also

Goat_does it also happen when you don't use min_mode?

I've tested it and yes, changing from min_mode 1 to 0 and vice versa doesn't solve the problem.

Hey.
Coming to you with few minor bugs so you can implement them into v2.1.
Firstly, while playing engi and having an achievement pinned to your screen, it kinda blends into engi's menu.

Second thing is, while using huntsman, his power bar is kinda off-sync.(upper one is huntsman, the other one is jarate)

Third thing's more like a suggestion from one of my earlier suggestions.About the scoreboard.What I'd like to see is dominations + players classes could be moved a bit closer to the score.Because players with long names doesn't fit in completely.

this is the low version in minmode 1
Also, notice the new hud crosshair (proper outlined cross)
And the small uberpercentage und the crosshair.
The low charge bar is standard for the low version of the hud and optional for the healthcross and numerical version.

Thank you Goat for your reply.I've switched from 1280 x 1080 to 1280 x 960.It seems to work well on this resolution!I've also played around with Deathnotice settings around and I've managed to make it so it looks exactly like I wanted to.Thank you for letting me know about it.
Today I tried out MvM and I've noticed,that Current currency,Remaining currency,Canteen charges and bomb radar is close to each other.In your next update you should throw things around a bit.Also I'm not sure what are those three circles for.

Hello Goat.
I've recently started using your Hud and I must say - it's great!But it could use some tweaks here and there.Firstly I'd like to start off with players classes and dominations being too close to the actual names.If player has a long name then you can't really see the ending.There's some unused space between class and score.Maybe you could move those a bit closer to the score?Another thing is Assists + Backstabs on the left and Revenges + Teleports on the right aren't fitting into the screen.Would be nice if you could squeeze those a bit closer to the center so everything fits the screen.Also I'm using 1280 x 1080 resolution.

The final suggestion would be maybe it's possible to increase the kill feed from 6 lines to 11?(Could be a selectable option in the GUI Settings)

Edit: Forgot to mention.Health and ammo should be put a bit closer to each other,becuase in this case,chat and info about what person is wearing gets in a way and kind of prevents me from seeing it clearly.

Edit v2: Found a small bug in end match MVP window.It's basically too small to fit the whole information about winning team's Mvp players.
