Thanks guys, I found a mentor for medic but not for scout.
Hopefully I'll improve faster
ESL_CitruI understand that some players don't want to hear that if it happens, that we're going to start with and possibly only host EU cups. It's quite complicated, and I can't get into any of the details.
As an alternative, we will use this rule:
Team nationality
In general, during matches of ESL national sections, at all times in-game a team must have more than 50% of its players that are residing in or have the nationality of the country or countries that the national section represents.
In addition, I also understand that if we do use this rule, that ping may not be ideal for some players, but that's where we will start. If expanding is an option later on, we will strongly consider it.
What expansion do you think would be possible for ESL Play? Could it ever expand to NA if it gained popularity in Europe?
Would a large amount of participation allow for a LAN, is it within what ESL Play is willing to do for TF2 if it takes off?
Bumping, hoping to find a decent team that I will do well with.

I'm trying to get better at scout, currently I get two shot all the time even though I try to abuse props. My aim is decent, but my dodging and game sense as scout needs to be improved. This good player named cheesy helped me in demo vs scout 1v1s, and I've gotten better at that since I know the basics, but I still suck at soldier v scout 1v1s as I still get two shotted.
As medic, I need help with surfs, and my game sense can be completely off at times so I'd like to review demos with my mentor.
I am trying to join a team as well, so hopefully I'll be able to improve and look at demos from those games with my mentor as well.
SpumattTI may be thinking overly optimistically here, but is it possible that Valve is purposely holding off on releasing the pyro update because of i61? It would actually be pretty impressive if their reasoning was holding off to avoid shaking the meta right before the largest competitve TF2 event of the year. Maybe that's getting my hopes up but who knows. I was pretty impressed by the last blog post; it has me thinking that maybe Valve has revamped their interaction strategy with the community.sounds unvalvelike
It would be great though
Pugchamp needs more fragging classes, we've always had too many meds and not enough fragging classes.
How can we make scout, soldier, and demo fun? Are people flaming them too much, and being toxic to fragging classes? Are fragging classes just not fun in pugs?
How can we fix this?
Mojo_da_Kiddhe's a nice guy who really wants to improve. he's not too good, but I am sure he will improve! give him a team!
No one has spoken about his personality, so I'll do it
He's really nice to everyone, and he gets along with almost everyone, so whatever your team dynamic, I'm sure he'll fit in. He also wants himself and others to improve, so if you want to improve as a team, pick him up.
One of the nicest people I know in the tf2 community, his 5 ping and great tf2 ability doesn't hurt as well.
smesihe can be annoying and frustrating at times but he's a young soul and just wants to improve at tf2
give him a tryout
Thanks old man :)
Really nice and kind in personality, haven't played that many pugs with her but from what I've seen from her demos and the few experiences I've had with her she's really good.
Pick her up
I've been playing lobbies and pugs for around a year, and recently upgraded my i3 computer to an i5 and installed comanglia's config for toaster ovens a week or so ago, so my computer doesn't crash at all and my frame rates jumped from 40-60 fps to 120ish fps. Next season I'll be a senior so a lot of the things that take up my time will be nonexistent although I have college apps. I also hit 1400 hours so I think I'm as ready as I'll ever be for competitive tf2, and I'm trying to make time for friday newbie mixes, but my summer internship conflicts.
I'm trying to improve, and people have told me finding a team will help me improve way more than pugchamp/tf2center/freakpugs. Also I want to beat my cousin/alter ego rktking ;)
I'm low open, and better at medic than scout and want to have fun.
