Man, you can't generalize like that. FA is an okay starter, you use it as a tool to further develop your taste & style. They actually give pretty decent advice, just find your own style and don't follow any advice religiously. It's not all good, it's not all bad. I.E a good start.
I'd suggest /r/MFA over it though

You dress like a high schooler who is trying too hard, by all means you dress better than most your age, try /r/malefashionadvice and other blogs/celebrity street fashion for ideas. For the jacket you're going for I'd suggest a Levi's Truckers Jacket, it's more subtle and simplistic. But that's my opinion, ultimately if you feel good in what you're wearing that's the deciding factor. It does fit if you were wondering.
