ive played on a PC with 120hz before, this adapter seems to be doing its job. Although I think youre being pedantic ill be more clear, if theres an increase in input lag from what i was previously using, i havent noticed it and it doesnt seem to affect my gameplay.
more on point since tf2 is the only game i play you have to understand its not worth it for me to spend money on a PC when i get 200 fps on my laptop and i can get 110hz with a $20 adapter.

I can get up to 110hz, which works perfectly fine at 1920x1080. If I try to use 120hz I get stuttering at any resolution. When I use 100hz or higher my monitor makes a barely audible hum, so I'm guessing this adapter is not safe to use and might end up breaking something if I keep using it. But it's so convenient... There is no input lag.

I found out that my monitor does not support displayport, the only way to get 120hz on it is to use the double link dvi.

it was worth the try but it seems for now I am a 1024 x 768 @ 75hz gamer
