#179 The nicest player? in TF2 General Discussion

There's so many nice people in this game, I probably can't list them all but a few who stood out to me.

Fox!
RaysFire
SidewaysWhoopi
JayBenaducci (in his own stoned outta his mind way)
DolphinRider
Steven (also goes by 'someone')
Indiman
PurpleRupee
Mang
Silkthread
Sezco
Voltij
Trekkie

special mentions who i think are also nice and genuine people
dflame (he started out very childish but imo he grew from that and became quite nice)
pete/knuck (same idea but happened much faster)

nice positive vibes from this thread. have a good weekend all :)

#18 No config seems too properly work in The Dumpster
MitarsuDanceNumberPost your hardware specs. It's likely your pc is too weak to run tf2 at a high frame rate even with configs.

Don't wait on Valve to fix this for you unless you want to become a skeleton who plays tf2.
But comanglias ran with 300 fps before jungle inferno now only with 30 which is weird but here are the specs
Prozesser: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J3069 @ 1.60GHz 1.60 GHz
Install Ram 4.00 GB
That's basically all Windoes 10 showed me

There is 0% chance any version of tf2 would give you 300FPS with that setup. If you are going to ask for help please don't lie.

You need to upgrade your pc for a better framerate as it's specs are too low.

#7 spilled coke (soda xD) on keyboard issue in Hardware

I once cleaned a keyboard in the dishwasher..

popped it in with no soap and let it dry 2 weeks under a fan, worked good as new.

probably wouldn't recommend unless you've got a backup lol

#51 What are your New Year's Resolutions? in Off Topic

I will to continue losing weight and going to the gym until I hit my goal and start to build muscle. (been at it almost 2 months now)

I will to commit to either an OW or TF2 team or maybe both. I miss competing.

There's more things that I'd like to get done as well that fit more into a 'want' category. The above are things that will get done.

Happy holidays everyone :)

#8 healthy eating thread in Off Topic

Recommendations.

Skinless chicken breasts. You can flavor these in many different ways and it's almost always delicious and healthy. I usually go for a spicy Jerk flavor.

Steamed Veggies. I like the 'swanson steamfresh' brand ones because they're like $2.50 a bag and make a very lazy but healthy side. I like to add a bit of fresh garlic and red chili flakes to them to kick up the flavor a bit.

Fish fillet's. Much like the chicken breasts, easy to pan sear and you can flavor them in multiple ways.

Whole grain rice. Get a rice cooker, eat rice. As a bonus you can steam fresh veggies in the rice cooker very easily.

Drink a lot more water, might want to consider multivitamins as well.

Avoid: processed foods, sugar (aside from occasional fruit (not fruit juice you need that fibre), excessive bread or carbs.

Biggest thing though is to always be thinking about whats in the food that you're eating, understand whats in it and how it will effect your body. You will feel much better.

Source: started watching my eating habits 52 days ago, down 18 Lbs and my depression and anxiety are almost completely gone. I feel human again.

#22 OLGHA - GETTING BAN FOR BEING GOOD in Off Topic
FuxxHaters gonna make fun of you because you went pyro in 6s but everything you've typed here is 100% correct.

(Though I'd argue that in a mix environment there's an unspoken expectation that the default format is used, but even that should only really matter in low div mixes)

For real, though. If you wanna play pyro in 6s join a team and play against organized players. Running a pyro/sniper/spy in pugs takes advantage of the chaotic nature of a pug and boosts their effectiveness. That's why people don't like it.
