I don't know about other players in the community, but for me the competition comes from wanting to play against others, and win. The end goal is winning, and I feel that there are many who would agree. That's why so many of us play and will continue to do so. As long as another league has the players to play against I don't see why there would be a lack of competition. It might be weaker on the top end at first, as some old timers will refute change and decide to not take it seriously. However it's only as competitive as you make it.

That said, i'm only willing to move to another league if many other players do as well. I'd rather be able to play the game I love against others (even if I have to have paid for malware), than to not play at all.

So, has anyone who has played in the new CEVO got any input on their league. I havn't played since the client wished you 'good bye!' on closing.

DA_KID, mangachu wasn't even mad at you. It was EVERY SINGLE OTHER PLAYER in that mix. You were playing like you were throwing the game. Saying things like 'make sure to kill mangachu while i'm healing you'. Your team joined our mumble after the mix was over to inquire about banning you. You lack the maturity to play in an organized environment and should seriously consider working on that before you expect others to want to play with you. The ban was entirely for attitude, and you should improve it before you attempt to play again.

EDIT: Mangachu also thought you were retarded. (he just kept his cool.)

#6 can confirm, Tes had 110 ping during scrims last night. Tech support said 'IDK LOL'. One of the best things about saskatchewan is the Fiber from SaskTel.

Team Fortress 2 Update Released
Product Update - Valve
An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:

-The Grandmaster will now update its model based on the owner's current kill streak

-Removed the requirement for SSE2 that was introduced during a previous update

-Updated The Jupiter Jumpers so they can be equipped with the Mantreads and the Gunboats

Halloween event notes:

-The Eternaween server enchantment can now be used to call a server vote to enable Halloween items on that server for a two-hour period

-Fixed an exploit in Helltower caused by attempting to change teams while in hell

-Updated Halloween spells so that the effects will only be visible during Halloween/Full Moon events. Spells will not be removed from the items they have been applied to.

-All Halloween event items have automatically expired except the Spooky Crate and the Pile Of Curses, which will automatically expire tomorrow.

So nothing at all really.
