I actually dread these updates. I know they're really exciting and cool, but I just don't want to deal with pubs being even worse, and having to fix my HUD. I'd love for tf2 to go in a more serious direction at least once, but HATS = $$$.

jediflamasterOf course I knew ping affected projectiles. What I didn't figure out until recently is ping affecting projectile lifetimes, call me stupid all you want, I still find it dumber that barely any of you cares about a game breaking bug.
Its not a gamebreaking bug. Thats like saying an Ethiopian soldier with 700 ping can't hit rockets because they delay for a million seconds is a game breaking bug. Of course ping matters. Thats why having LAN finals is so important for tf2.

Saw this on reddit, thought it was pretty cool.

(and we're on the way to beating that again today)
7+ years after release and it is still growing. The best part of this, is that a percentage of those 100K players will trickle into competitive tf2 as they play the game and try to challenge themselves.
Of course this is also a massive spike from the spooky halloween stuff, but really if it gets a few more people interested in 6s or HL thats incredible.
