nopeI dunno about you but i don't find crappily balanced maps and awful looking cosmetics fun, let alone terribly designed gamemodes, none of which will ever be played again because it's all just bad.
And all of it is wasting pretty damn valuable developer time by this point. But whatever, you enjoy your go karts
fuck you man the go carts are my favorite <3
gg Yarn BLACK, was a really fun and close match
Gemmellness^ i doubt you need an rx480 if you're only updating now because of your monitor
Also getting it to boost my performance when streaming since GPU encoding on OBS is a thing and TF2 mainly uses CPU resources.
murkscribeHoly shit, tf2 is truly cpu bound, I have a much better graphicas card than your, the 750 ti, but my fps lowers when shit hits the fan during fights. Looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade somehow from my core 2 duo.
This where Setsul will come, but personally, I would spend just a little more and get the rx480, granted you have a power supply that can handle it.
My power supply is a 350W piece of garbage lol. no PCI-E power connectors and just enough sata power connectors (3) to actually power my drives. Everything is plugged into something, though I'm upgrading that as well This christmas.
Currently have an MSI R7 250 OC (the 2GB DDR3, not 1GB DDR5)
Gives me 400FPS in 720p min settings felik's config tf2, and about 150 while streaming 720p60fps same tf2 settings.
Problem is, it only has single link DVI so can only pump out a max of 75hz from my monitor (even then at stretched wierd 4:3 resolutions).
Can anyone give me some ideas of what I can upgrade to that'll support my PG248QE and give me equal frames or better).
Budget is sub 200 USD, was thinking about RX 460 2GB or GTX 1050 ti but was gonna see if anyone had other recommendations.
Edit: CPU is FX-6300
As retarded as it sounds, was playing a deathrun minigame in roblox when I was 10 and saw they had a link to the game they got the deathrun sounds and minigame idea from. Saw it was TF2, didnt really understand it was an FPS and DL'd it. Spent 15 minutes on a hightower server trying to figure the game out, then went to YouTube, googled TF2, and ended up on a VanillaTV cast. Been watching since then, but was never able to install steam/tf2 again until 2012 when I got my first laptop since my parents saw it was a shooter and went into overreact mode.
Just joined RtHL and idk
like Tim was eating fucking apples the whole 2nd scrim and was playing with one hand, and maki was bombing them as demo the whole match. Really enjoying playing medic again finally, but certain shit is kinda not what I would want out of a team. It really tilted neato and sam, and it seems like this isnt the first time this has happened as neto especially had a short fuse
I wanna play medic and the team is fun but having second thoughts
what do
ShyloI had this same exact problem in Windows 10, disable that Xbox DVR crap. It gets annoyed when you try to mess with your resolution.
Had it disabled since I got my pc, I don't think that was the problem. I have an ASUS VG248QE 144hz monitor but my gfx card only has single link DVI and HDMI 1.2 outputs, so I need to upgrade to get more than 75 hz, and even then I only get 75hz on low res 4:3 resolutions (like 640x480 like i was running). Playing was fine but windows sucks balls at that resolution and I'm getting a new GPU in the next month anyways so I was just testing out last night how viable doing that would be to get a little bit smoother gameplay.
Ok so I reinstalled the drivers and defaulted everything and it seems to be working OK. I think this may have been caused by me playing with a custom resolution yesterday to pump out extra hz from my monitor. However today I was using the default 60hz 1080p resolution profile today so idk
this is what happens when you try to use single link DVI for 144 hz :P
dailyIt almost sounds like a graphical driver issue, since it's affecting different games not even on the same engine. I would try reinstalling them.
gonna try installing latest radeon drivers first and see if that helps
platinumgodMight be talking out of my arse here but I think -nod3d9ex1 may help? I've heard a lot of talk about it. Note the distinction between -nod3d9ex1 and -nod3d9ex (the one that apparently helps).
so now I can ctrl-alt-delete as a form of tabbing out, but not alt tab
windows button also works, though opening task manager wityh ctrl shift esc blackscreens it too
