Been grinding the boring afk skills while revising for exams and quests really boosted my combat skills haha. I also got a lot of motivation for skilling by going for achievement diaries, all I can say is fuck blackjacking.

Edit: I'm not sure if it's just me, but imo the damage numbers look a bit odd without the - sign, maybe it's just because I'm so used to having one. I really like the font for the damage numbers though. Another thing I think you could consider is displaying the damage numbers somewhere on the hud as well, maybe in between the hp and ammo? idk. My favourite version of the hud is the blurry shadows one!

I'm not sure if it's the same thing, but I used to have something similar. I don't remember if it happened in TF2, but I remember it happened to me in Killing Floor. The symptoms are the same as yours and I also have an ASUS motherboard. I would always get this screeching in my headphones and mic, and it would change pitch depending on what I was doing in the game.

My immediate fix was just getting a USB headset which fixed it completely, although I recently got a new soundcard and it seems to have fixed the issue when I use the back ports (the front ones still kind of have it but no where near as bad). From the research I did I assumed it was something to do with EMI.

The cheapest solution to fix the mic would be to get a shitty USB soundcard thing and plug your mic into it (something like this, and it may also help diagnose what it is), although I don't know what that would do to the quality of it and I would definitely not recommend plugging your headphones into it because the sound quality will be shit.

Otherwise if you can't deal with it in the headphones (and I know I couldn't) then I suppose you could either get a USB headset or look for a soundcard with some EMI shielding, or the screeching could just be caused by something completely different idk.

What font did you use? Looks pretty nice imo.
