#11 Esea stahp! in TF2 General Discussion

Ah man. That sucks. Sorry wiggles. But yes, its a risk for changing servers. Make sure your scheduler notes the servers you have played on and do not play on them again.

#9 Esea stahp! in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah those lags happen alot for teams (randomly). You just have to learn to deal with it. I am not sure if there is anything ESEA can do to fix it.

What I have done in the past is keep a log of bad servers we played in, and made sure to not accept or ask for a match there again. Oh btw, if it happens alot in a match and both teams agree, you can ask an admin to switch servers if both teams have not scored yet.

#19 Shoutcasting in TF2 General Discussion

Awesome! Eydok. Thanks for posting your first tf2 cast. I loved the enthusiasm (and accent). :)

You should install a hud so you do not have the default spectator view (it blocks alot of the action).

Below is the link to Salamancer's hud (EXTV hud)--
http://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=http%3A%2F%2Ft.co%2F9VinuXkB&session_token=mO1wYyXHqQWKs2n3VhcKEDMB9Ad8MTM1NTQzMjUzNEAxMzU1MzQ2MTM0

[Found on his youtube channel- http://www.youtube.com/fatmop]

If you want to tryout other huds- http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/183-collection-of-custom-huds

To install:
*go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\<your username>\team fortress 2\tf
*delete any folders titled scrips and resource (you probably will not have a scrips folder)
*open the zip folder and drag the scrips and resource folders from the hud into your tf folder
*start up tf2 to see the new hud

#41 FULLY CHARGED Discussion and Feedback Thread in TF2 General Discussion

My thoughts...

*Begin rant*

So what is the goal of the talkshow Sal? Is it in a talk-show format where you interview people who intend to keep people in the know + grow TF2? If so, you might want to refrain to speculation talk (ie rumors) but talk about facts. That is if you want to show to remain credulous. However, if people want the rumors and gossip, than just continue with speculation. I do have to say, people are intrigued by rumors and gossip. so you probably would get a considerable amount of people who view just for that aspect. But at the same time, it will hurt those who are on the receiving end of the bad news of the speculation. This may end up hurting ties with people in the future, but who knows? Maybe no harm will come.

Obviously, a person/player like Hein means well. But I would be pissed to know my team-mates went behind my back to push me away from my own team (however this does happen... to me in fact). But I think the sting would be worse to find out from a show meant to push the growth of TF2. I believe that was the original intention of the show.

I guess what I am trying to say is, if the goal is to grown tf2 with credible news/announcements... maybe lay off the speculation without having the person/team there to defend the claim.

*End rant*

#24 possibly looking as medic or maybe scout? in Recruitment (looking for team)

You haven't found a team yet?! Damn someone get this fine dude a team. I personally think he is really chill and I have watched his medicing throughout the seasons. He has room to grow (what medic doesn't though?), but with the right people I think Che will have the best season(s) of his gaming career. ;)

#36 if i did it in TF2 General Discussion

Not sure if someone suggested this. But could you add process mid to the list of arenas?

Also it would be awesome to somehow implement ultiduo in mge (as kirby suggested). Not sure if that is possible though.

#29 Pick next weeks Fully Charged topic in TF2 General Discussion

You should interview the team leaders for the newer invite teams/with new players in invite (vector, xen, AG). Ask them questions on what they expect to learn from next season. And their thoughts on contesting/competing with upper invite. etc...

#12 ESEA CS Ladder System in TF2 General Discussion

lol trekkie. That meme made me just crack up laughing.

Seems like a cool thing. If people wanted to use it for scrims. But then we would have no tf2 logs?! Someone would need to talk to Torbull/kalkin/killing or something to make sure they knew tf2 was interested in the system. But I dont see people wanting that over logs? Maybe I am wrong.

Frkn pretty much of hit the right idea. Scrims are times to try new things. At least for tf2.

#74 Share your story on getting into comp in Q/A Help

Read pyyyours thread on steam forums (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1735510) when I was on a highlander team. Read up on how to play and then started looking for a 6s team after my first highlander, and fell in love with 6s. Met Chriz_ta_fah, Maik, Marmaduke, Reemix (dFlame), Simplex, Fog, TWSS, Tragic ... etc. Good times.
