From Link:The original copyrighted work is Valve's game Team Fortress 2 ("TF2") https://store.steampowered.com/app/440/Team_Fortress_2/. The TF2 assets have been ported to Source 2 without permission and are being redistributed by Amper Software in a game mode for Facepunch's S@box. Facepunch has not licensed any Valve assets for S@box. The unauthorized porting and redistributing of Valve's assets without a license violates Valve's IP.
If this is to be believed (I have no idea how to verify this), but it seems that the reason this got a DMCA takedown notice is that it ported TF2 assets to Source 2 and redistributed it on s&box which doesn't have a license for using Valve assets. While I think its weird that TF2 assets being ported to Source 2 is a problem, there does seem to be some justification.

Kinda similar to when OpenFortress and things like that got DMCA'd for using leaked source code.

Edit: According to the TF:Source 2 team, they contacted Valve and got confirmation that this DMCA claim is legitimate.

I love how Valve is more worried about this shit, but is perfectly fine with doing nothing with this game unless the community itself makes 99 percent of the new content for them and then takes a profit from it with practically no real work.

So you dont want sponsors, you dont want support, you dont want money, is that what dyslexia feels like?people are concerned when someone who appears mentally unstable announces suddenly and vaguely that they are giving $2400 away for unclear reasons

The reasons are not unclear. I offered support as a test run with league play under UGC, to essentially see if RGB was an option. STORM did lot during that test, when whackers comp was literally payed for when he was struggling with support for parts. You guys give me so much shit, but in the background I’ve been supporting the scene with decent money, buying mice and keys, power supply’s, and in the end you treat me like a shit.

That is getting kinda fucked. Only reason the RGB DVD was a pay to own thing was because how expensive production is. I’m flying out on my own dime, paying for a room, just to make some thing that’s only gunna cost 20 bucks after production costs of god knows what

You guys treat me so bad and so far I’ve only given what I can.
Do any of you get how fucked that is? None of you would have the balls to mention shit to me at lan, why?

I mean yes you got punished for jumping more and meds had to heal that class more, but it was also a 3rd handle on hitscan and took a little control away from scouts in fights that felt like, “well unless I hit this perfect direct or airshot, I’m fucked because this scout knows how to dodge and dance around the splash effective areas of the map I’m fighting in!”. The argument is also two sided, it in fact forced soldiers to get to that point to do in fact that, but now they are so good in those situations, I’m just even more curious to see shotgun come back with that level of improvement on hand at the expense of certain standard format mechanics.zoomers continue to downvote this post because shotgun soldiers mean the game goes slower and their attention span doesnt allow for thatwhy would you want the game that already deals with constant stalemates to be even slower ? also sign up date 2020 you didn't even play in that meta Mate The pocket scene was solid, just seems like in the end we got a different level of patience anymore with this thing.

I wanted something for us, a piece of content that was on a physical format said fuck you to so many current pieces in our scene. These games coming up, or the few that popped up the last two years, we are a major example for comp in gaming, all of you.

Every single one of you, despite having humor as a focus, you each represent a better part of a independent scene that no other game could achieve.
