I think hitevents have been slightly broken by a recent tf2 update. The critical hit sprite no longer shows up, but the damage numbers still do.

Let's make a fragvideo to commemorate this wonderful tournament.
Simply submit any frags you got during the tournament to this thread. Skill level doesn't matter, only that you got the frags while playing in the competition.
Make sure you include ticks + alias + team name in your description, either in the file name or as a separate text document.
Example of formatting: 9001_Beater_LEGO_tripleAirshot.dem
Show me your stuff!

You were too late. I already finished the video:

We're doing this!
Just to update you guys: This tournament is definitely happening. We still need to sort out all of the specifics, but almost everyone who was originally involved with producing and casting CG have voiced interest in helping with this tournament as well.
The most likely date for this tournament is April 11-12. I don't think I'll be doing a fundraiser for the prize pool.
We're currently trying to get a sponsor in cooperation with Copenhagen games, so "not the Copenhagen Games" might not be a viable tournament name
We're all bummed out that Copenhagen Games got canceled, but I figure since we've all booked time off for Easter anyway and are stuck sitting inside, why don't we organize a tournament to keep ourselves occupied and have something to get hyped about?
I have 40€ sitting in my paypal account that I'd be willing to put up as prize money, and if we have a bunch of people chip in some small amount of money we could gather a pretty decent pot that's worth competing for, I recon. I'll open up my paypal for donations if enough people express interest.
I think the best format for this tournament would be to have two separate ones: One invite tournament for top teams and an open tournament for everyone else. How the invite tournament is organized would depend on the number of teams, but I think the Open tournament should start with 4-team groups leading into a single knockout bracket, to ensure that everybody get to play at least 3 games. The main issue with this format is that it can be difficult to pull it all of in one day, and two-day tournaments are just harder to schedule for IMO.
If you have any good suggestions or or ideas please share them here. I'm just spit balling at this point.
So let's have a lockdown smackdown, a rumble as society crumble, a containment competition, a quarantine guillotine, you know, a TF2 tournament!
Danish MGE tournament. Me and Wandum casts
I made a highlight video of all the best stuff I could find from the season. Enjoy!
Music used:
Mord Fustang - Postcard
Mord Fustang - Flower with no name (Alternative mix)
It seems to me like people stopped uploading their demos about half way through the season (again) so I'm sure a lot of obvious frags are missing, but there's nothing I can do about that.
