There's always a way!
To be fair, remodelling the place - which isn't exactly mine to remodel - is definitely kindaan option. But one that I refuse to use... for obvious reasons.
I'll try those power line plug things, maybe. Or just move. <.<

rock-are you using a crappy modem/router?
how many devices are connected to the modem/router?
are these devices doing something that might bother the m/r?
have you tried pinging the m/r? have you tried pinging the m/r with the connection cable unplugged?
have you checked if it's overheating?
* Using my provider's thing, which is a speedport W 921V - not sure if thats good or crap or what

Make sure you're connected over Ethernet to the router!
as in use a wire? not really possible.

So I've got this problem occasionally, not limited to any special time of the day or servers or even countries.
When it hits, everything freezes for a second or three, making me useless for the time. Sometimes I rubberband a second or so back when I unfreeze. For others it looks like I am standing still, occasional warping around happens, too.

That's something to do with the config only tf2center can fix?
