5ghz can have better performance but is more easily blocked by walls. Specifically, the 5ghz spectrum is less noisy so you would theoretically get less packet loss... I'm not sure it would be significant, a good 2.4 ghz network will still provide a decent connection.

Doubt the difference between 5 and 2.4 will make any real difference for playing tf2. You should always aim for a direct wired connection though.

Just a reminder that we are all doing this because #tf2center pulled out after having 2 months to organise their team, a team that had most of their way paid.

FK1, FK2, EC-A series and ZA series all have the Avago 3310 sensor, which is the reason you buy a zowie. Any of them will be good, mouse shape is a preference thing and that's the only difference.
