Good 144 Hz Monitors

The VG248QE is a fine monitor (using one right now) but there's no reason to get it unless you have a brilliant deal. The newer benq monitors are just much better now.
It's not a shit monitor it's just old and there's better stuff out there atm.

SpicySalsaHi. Original designer here. The font used in the TFLIVE HUD is licensed font called FF DIN. It's used in a lot of broadcast, and advertising graphics, and has a great balance between being aesthetically pleasing and being easily readable.

Absolutely no work goes into the hud elements that you see only when you're playing. Most notably, health and ammo. Also the TFLIVE hud gets rid of the scoreboard that lists the players altogether, so it's really not at all ready for players to play with at all.
