#56 TF2 Update 5/17/13 in TF2 General Discussion

I know a few people that use OpenPlugin and they aren't banned. Some quite popular cheats seem to have been detected though.

DrakeMegrimYou can put it in the server config file (most comp. configs have this in there) and change the map. That should turn on sv_pure 2. Sv_pure isn't something you can change at will on a server. It's 0, 1, or 2 and can't be changed without a server restart.

No, you can't. Since SteamPipe you need to have in the command line, or you won't be able to change the value after the server start.

fraacNo errors, it just doesn't work. How do we convert it to Steampipe?

Well you should have an error, check your log files. Are you sure logging is enabled?
If you're using a rented server, you'll need to ask your GSP to update it.

Linux or Windows? Which version? Which error?

fraacHow do I fix this for Steampipe?

What's the problem with Steampipe? It should work fine.

MrPoT4tOIt's actually windows, but i'll see what can I do

If the upload fails, there should be an error. Let me know if you see it.

MrPoT4tOI remember that the auto-upload log didn't work for me last time I tried. I'll check out which plugins are the ones that causing the issue.

If you were using a Linux SteamPipe server, then that's probably fixed now.

MrPoT4tOQuestion: does this work if I have sourcemod in my server?

Yes, though it might conflict with some sourcemod plugins. None has been able to tell me which ones yet. You'll have to try and see if it works.

SherbWhen my server runs TFtrue it just keeps going offline, refusing to start up.
The only other things installed are through sourcemod, are they conflicting?

Edit: Yeah they were conflicting. Removed sourcemod and it's working now.

It could help if you could check which sourcemod plugin is causing that :)

GeknaiirThis looks amazing!numlockedprefer this over any other mod. good work.

Thanks.

Useful for lazy or low-expertise server admins as well as people who use a shared server, whitelists work well in vanilla though so it makes me wonder if it uses the mechanisms that the whitelist uses or not. The values it allows are awfully specific and that makes me wonder if (even while it's disabled) it happens to conflict with the built in whitelist system as well.

It uses the built in whitelist system.

>tftrue_jumpducked
>This CVar will turn on/off jumping while ducked, this is normally not possible in TF2 and this is very useful when bunny hopping is enabled to bunny hop while ducked. Default is 1 (enabled).
>tftrue_scope_hsdelay
>This CVar will turn on/off the 200ms Sniper Rifle headshot delay when scoping. Default is 1 (enabled).
These vars are a significant departure from normal gameplay and should default to vanilla because of that.

>tftrue_unpause_delay
>This CVar sets the delay before someone can unpause the game after it has been paused. Default is 2.
What unit, seconds?

All around it is a good thing.

tftrue_jumpducked is already 0 (it's a mistake in the readme) and tftrue_scope_hsdelay is already 1, which match vanilla.

tftrue_unpause_delay is in seconds, yes.

#1 AnAkIn's Anti-Cheat in TF2 General Discussion

Site: http://tftrue.redline-utilities.net/anakinac.html

Description
---------------------------------------------------
List of detections:
- Detect prediction hacks (crit hacks & no spread hacks)
- Detect an exploit to bypass the old anti speedhack protection
- Detect potential auto shoot, auto zoom, auto stickybomb det, auto airblast and auto cloak hacks
- Detect hacks that modify viewangles (experimental)

The detections get printed to a log called TriggerBotDetections.log (can be changed with aac_logname) in tf/ (and are also sent to me) on EVERY MAP change
or when all players have disconnected from the server.
