suikaHoly shit I woke up to this. Landmark moment in tf2 history. Time for the new blood to take over the upper echelons of invite.

Can I be the new echelon? I recently unlocked the Force-a-nature and I even own a hat!

Mumathe fairy admin guy is pretending to be TF2C | Muselk now rofl

It's a girl and while I don't know her that well, I can tell you from my few encounters with her that she just seems incredibly sarcastic and fun-loving. I messaged her about it one day and the response was something like "shhhh I'm trying to confuse the kiddos."

REM_TF2AFlyingNunAs a pure onlooker I'm just curious: where exactly does the negative rep with TF2C admins come from? Aside from the example given here of course. I just can't imagine why an admin would go out of their way to spitefully get one person barred from an event. Even if RTC kicked his puppy, it'd be irrelevant to anything TF2 related and he should understand that, not try to exhibit force to try and ruin the guy's participation in the TF2 community.
Certain TF2C staff have been getting into spats with various parts of the TF2 community. The first time was probably when a bunch of Team Colonslash people got banned from the site but I can't even remember why but I remember it was stupid and one of the staff members (Foxy) later apologised on the ETF2L forums for it. Aside from that it's just been very blunt/rude posts on the ETF2L forums, banning players because they don't like them/for minor things and now this. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.

But why such a grudge against RTC?

I myself have had the misfortune of being targeted by someone so childish, so spiteful and so vindictive that the grudge was held so alarmingly long for reasons I still don't understand. This was a person I treated as a friend and even gave stuff to, only to find out they wanted me to "pay" because....well, essentially I proved more knowledgeable and qualified than them in a group we belonged to so he got passed up for a position he wanted while I got it instead, and everyone praised my performance in said position. Fast forward to when I realized this guy hated my guts and he had a chance to basically get rid of me....? I was speechless. It was so insane and so depressing to realize people like that exist.

The whole bit between Masternoob and RTC just sounds too similar for me, and RTC has my deepest sympathies. I'm interested more in this story because I find it absolutely depressing to realize that such vindictive people exist in the world and that such people can actually get leadership positions, no matter how small they may be. I just cannot think of ANYTHING RTC could've done to legitimately warrant such an action.

Aside from that I've really only ever spoken to Fairy (though not much), who seems like a charming and nice enough person, so to hear the team has a reputation for being "toxic" as it's described here is just kind of an unpleasant surprise.
