making a thread about sandbagging = raging hardcore?

I know you probably just said that to boost your ego, but if you actually consider that to be one of your favorite moments of 2015, I genuinely feel sorry for you.

Pellovleyi want an in-depth explanation for how the borders of central asia were determined

The benefits of successful borders in Central Asia would include better public relations, cooperation, and security. They would also improve the efforts to combat drug trafficking and religious extremism. However, because of political and economic reasons, there has been a growing mistrust between these countries, causing their borders to become an issue.

Border disputes came to light as the states claimed independence. In the mid-1920s, Moscow established borders of its Central Asian republics. They followed neither natural geographic boundaries nor ethnic lines. Economic and transportation links were designed to cross borders freely so goods could travel across these internal borders.

The borders were redrawn on numerous occasions. Republics were permitted to secure long-term leases of territory from other republics, causing enclaves to appear. Long-standing transportation links were disrupted. People could no longer easily visit friends and family from other areas. The majority of the population viewed these restrictions with hostility and felt that the borders disrupted the traditional patterns of commerce and society. Regional relations were uneasy and tensions over borders only hindered cooperation between the states.

As cross-border travel becomes more difficult, interaction between populations that once shared many similar aspects has lessened. As new borders are being drawn, new stereotypes are being created. Limiting cross-border movement has been done in the name of security, yet few services are proficient. The means used to secure borders has had a negative impact on the lives of local people.

Tension over borders is only one more destabilizing issue in a difficult political and security environment. It is important that any territorial differences be resolved on a mutually acceptable basis. While the understanding of the need to settle border issues increases, it is unlikely a final breakthrough will come any time soon.

#5 turntable advice? in Hardware

My dad got me this for Christmas last year. It's only $100 and so far it sounds great. The black suitcase design makes it easy to travel with without being too over-the-top hipster looking like those shitty crosley record players sold at Urban Outfitters.

Sorry, I forgot that you guys are obviously smarter than some of the greatest minds in philosophy.

Dichotomy Paradox

To get from point A to point B, you must first travel half the way. To travel half the way, you must travel one fourth of the way, then one eighth, then one sixteenth, and so on. You must complete an infinite number of actions, so the motion cannot be completed.

eeealright
what seprates america from the rest of the developed world?either we cant work a system that *everyone* else can,or we can and chose not to

Every country/state is different. Things from population, territory, and geography to income, education, and health help define a country. It's not just "these countries are all industrialized therefore they are all the same." It's not as black and white as that.

@cutetea, someone linked me your youtube channel. Funny how you call me a whiteknight when you apparently need them by your side to feel good about yourself.

eeethis post is a shitpost because u implied americans are untermensch retards who can somehow manage to fuck up a system countries with weaker economies and more varied political parties can pull off without actually explaining why america is the shittiest first world country

This post is a shitpost because you are too vague. What specific changes are you even talking about? How many other factors were in play? I remember reading smaka's post about gun control where he put it nicely - in the end, it doesn't matter how many countries it works for, those countries aren't America. How far will we go to carry out something that is basically one big experiment?

eeealso if u support trump you ARE an asshole there's really no way to get out of supporting a racist

I don't support Trump.

Jesus, what a mess of a quote.

cuteteaBut yeah honestly you have been nothing less than a scumbag to me in the past for no reason, so I'm not surprised your political beliefs are scummy too. Mister "$layer", arguing in favour of someone like Trump over those damn career politicians suits even your name.

This "us versus them" mentality is great. He supports some of Trump's policies? Burn the witch!

cuteteaRead your posts a second time before posting them. All you've done in this thread is insult people personally, no need to be someone's white knight, $layer dude argues his opinions much better than you. I doubt he wants your help.

Did you want to address the points I was trying to make? I guess completely ignoring them and calling me a whiteknight(???) would be another option.

Finally, pointing out someone's shitty logic != defending the person they were arguing with. I have never met $layer.

cuteteaproblematic

don't use this word outside of tumblr

cuteteaDefund Planned Parenthood? They provide health care coverage for so many people in the US, as if things weren't bad enough.

The Planned Parenthood issue is mostly people arguing about abortion, which is as productive as arguing about gun control.

cuteteaAs for the reasons you brought up why Bernie's policies won't work - yeah they will, just like they do in so many other countries all over the world. You know where people live in the first world but also have access to first world health care, unlike the US. By taxing the wealthiest top percentage that won't live long enough to notice the difference in money they have.

"It'll obviously work in America, a place completely different than any other country, because I say it will."

cuteteaHe doesn't agree with spending money on education or health care, but spending much more on killing people, either in his own country or someone else's country. Nice!

Context, what is it?

cuteteaBut yeah honestly you have been nothing less than a scumbag to me in the past for no reason, so I'm not surprised your political beliefs are scummy too. Mister "$layer", arguing in favour of someone like Trump over those damn career politicians suits even your name.

"Anyone who has political beliefs different than mine are instantly scummy. Also, I'll insult you personally for having opinions because I'm progressive like that."
