Whole milk for the win. Whole milk can be anywhere from what, 3%-5 (ish)% fat? In my personal opinion, I think it's worth buying whole milk, and then watering it down on your own. Where I live, skim, 1%, 2% and whole milk are all the same price, so I just buy whole milk to get my money's worth.

Pls tell me someone else does this.

You germans don't drink pasteurized milk, I don't need to hear your opinions on food safety.

But reduced fat milk is not watered down milk, it's milk with the fat skimmed off. It actually has slightly more protein than the full fat version, whereas in your version everything is watered down.

But is there something wrong with fat?- I mean, unless you're consuming too much and/or want to limit fat intake. Whole milk has a decent fat:protein in my opinion.
