So every 3-5 minutes for the last several hours, McAfee (I know, people say it's shit, it's what I have) pops up saying "Potentially Unwanted Program Blocked" with the details for this:

About This Potentially Unwanted Program
Name: Adware-Bprotect
Quarantined From: C:\progr~3\pcper~1\261339~1.144\{61d8b~1\pcpmngr.dll

And I click 'remove' every time, yet it apparently never works. It's very annoying, and I'm no computer genius (I'm not computer illiterate though), and I have no idea how to fix it. Can anyone help?

EDIT: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware seems to have fixed it, thanks!

Dont know if this would help, but try downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and then run a quick scan, if it pops up again try deleting it from there :)

Post #4 looks closest to your problem. From what I gathered from lightly skimming it, it's something to do with the AVG toolbar. Post #15 says they used CCleaner to remove what was called "Browser Manager" and McAfee "hasn't popped up since".

Hope that helps... In all honesty, just remove McAfee...
Edit: Lol brisk, beat me to it.

#3 I found the same thread, but I can't find any program called "Browser Manager"

#4 and 5 rofl I saw that in that other thread.

I'll try downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and see if it helps
