Pandora’s Box is a in-development indie game by Variable Agent and Shada. It is about a young girl and her mischievous shadow. With her father kidnapped, and the mysterious world Animus now under attack by the evil witch Scarlet, the young girl and her shadow embark on a quest to rescue her father, defeat Scarlet and save the world.
The game is a 2.5-D platformer that features a unique gameplay style balancing the elements of light and dark. In the light your defense is strongest but your attacks are weakest, but in the dark your attacks are strongest but your defense is weakest.
The graphics will be unique. With many vibrant colors, it will produce the image of a moving painting. The music is planned to be styled after contemporary Greek music. The story, written by Shada, will be engaging and worth a second play. The game will have many secrets that need to be uncovered, including several secret bosses that you can fight against (that is, if you dare…).
We’re just starting on this project and need your support. Just reblog and get the word out there. The bigger following we have, the more inclined we’ll be to release information on this blog and the more motivated we’ll be to complete the project sooner! Thanks for your help everyone.

this might be a little bias coming from someone who used to do a lot of amateur game development but starting a youtube/blog page and making videos before you even have begun a project is just putting yourself on the road to failure because you already failed the most important part -- caring more about learning the tools and working on your dream game than the "super duper fun/random video making!"
edit: christ this is depressing to read through since all it reminds me of is my old failures from hyping myself up to get fucked like this. these people haven't even shared any logistics like time dedicated, staff, language of choice or approach and instead opted to have 5 different people draw concept art non indicative of the described light/dark design.

Most important question: Is there actual art or am I just looking at randomly selected deviantart doodles? Because I could just sit on deviantart for an hour to look at faux-anime images and achieve the same experience of playing that game by just scrolling up and down.
