Hey, when streaming sometimes it will work completely fine, and other times I will get 100% of my frames dropped. I have no idea what would be causing this.

My internet:

My pc has an i5 3570k for the processor.

OBS settings:

http://puu.sh/2tkHI

any help would be appreciated.

I find it weird that my bit rate drops to 0kb/s

I've tried lowering the bitrate to 2000, and the error persists.

Have you tried adding

vbvmaxrate=3500

to your Custom x264 Encoder Settings in Advanced to see if that helps at all?

this used to happen to me, just had to change the server to the one closest to me and solved it

a ping tool that showed me the problem

#2 doesn't seem to help.
I used JTVping and i'm connecting to the best possible server.

Is it possible shaw (my isp) is throttling my upload to twitch's servers?

Seems like the connection is failing everytime it gets to a certain point when I run tracert. I'll try again late at night and see if its just my isp's servers being busy.

Saskatchewan.

also, the amazing cookie cutter reaction the tech support gave me.

Maggie #V613 (17:19:10):Thank you for waiting Simon, it looks like it could be related to the servers content is hosted on. Since your speeds are as they should be the steaming issues would not be related to your Shaw connection.
