I used the TF2 Movie Maker config way back when, but I don't know how it's done now. How do y'all render those P-REC demos -> movies now?

basically....
[frame grabbing application] -> [intermediate format converter] -> [NLE] -> [Final render/export to another intermediate format and convert using something else]

my work flow
srcdemo -> Virtualdub ~> compress lagarith/wav -> edit in NLE ~> export lagarith/wav -> Virtualdub ~> compress using x264 cli/lame mp3 into mkv.

There are multiple ways to achieve what you're looking for. Flippers links you to a guide I wrote that explains how to pretty much use the oldest method (except manually recording) as I am a bum and don't feel like learning something new.

With what I heard about srcdemo I would probably use that though. Up to you.
