hey guys so there was a steam update today and and now my tf2 is stuck at 42 fps even though i normally get about 300-400, really not sure if this is a problem on my end or on the end of the game, is anyone experiencing this problem ? Help please.
Also worth mentioning, when tf2 is open my whole computer will almost be unusable as it lags the absolute shit out of my whole pc.

nope but i closed vegas and reopened tf2 and it was working perfect and my pc wasnt lagging, however, ive always been able to have both open without any problems.

i used to get this problem and it was stuck at 60. I re-installed and it fixed it

i dont think the nature of the problem is the same, i get the 60 fps cap for a few seconds as well, it happens maybe once or twice a day, this problem seems to be completely different as it is affecting my whole system.
