Weird packet loss issue

when playing csgo I sometimes get packet loss 35% ish when connecting to valve servers. Its random, as a matter of fact i joined 6 different valve dm servers and got 35% packet loss in half and the other had none. Ping was the same for both servers. Nobody else on the server seems to have this issue. I have no idea what is causing it, re joining the server does not help. Only happens in valve csgo servers, only happens on some of them. Its getting irritating because every game I play there is a 50% chance I get horrible packet loss.

This was the EXACT same thing I noticed when I was pubbing like an hour ago, my ping remained normal 50 or 60 but my loss would sometimes jump up to 70% making the game obnoxious to play

This hasn't happened to me ever before and is completely recent, was there some kind of update in the last couple days?

Try changing cl_updaterate to 127 before you connect to a server; something similar happened to me a while ago and this fixed it.
