Taking hunger out of the equation, are there any long-term health risks to taking vitamins every day and only eating a snack or two throughout the day?(not talking for the rest of your life, just for like 1-2 months) I'm taking an appetite stimulant in an attempt to lose weight/deflate my out of control appetite, and the medicine I'm taking more or less removes my feelings of hunger every day.

Depends on how fat you are. If you're fat enough that you won't starve it shouldn't be too bad. There's the popular case of the Scotsman who fasted for a little over a year only taking multivitamins, but a 1 sample study doesn't mean much. Also, shouldn't you be talking to a doctor/dietitian or something or are you uninsured? Pretty sure this isn't the best place to get dieting advice, especially considering all the factors that go into it.

Yeah, you're likely to be very tired, since food=energy. You will also likely add the weight back after you stop taking those pills. Oh and those diet pills straight up fuck your heart

I've heard some bad stories about those pills but that's just me. Id recommend going to the gym twice a week and just eating healthier foods instead of resorting to un-natural pills to solve the problem. You may not be giving your body enough nutrients and it could eventually effect you.

What Fzero said, dieting for "one to two months" is pointless. Losing weight is a lifestyle, not something you complete and then start eating whatever you want right after. Instead of doing that (which sounds pretty unhealthy since you're depriving your body) you should try something along the lines if intermittent fasting (eating healthy foods in an 8 hour eating window like 9am to 5pm) and consistently keep that up you'll lose weight in a healthy manner and develop proper habits to continue to stay slim.

It's not a matter of exercising, I'm already doing that quite frequently. However my appetite is uncontrollable, and without medication I get terrible hunger pains even if I've eaten a full sized meal. So with the stimulant, I'm able to not over eat since my appetite is virtually nonexistent now.

Also to preface this, I've had tons of problems with major depression since my early teens(puberty), so for the past 4-5 years, I've been pretty ignorant of my health and whatnot. I've just recently gotten into a stable condition, and now that I'm able to function in society normally I've been trying to lose weight by exercising/restricting my appetite; however considering my appetite had gotten used to a lot more food per meal than normal, it's difficult to keep yourself from eating too much. This is where the stimulant kicks in and helps me get a head start on getting back in shape.
