Demo Recording Problem

I was trying to record a nice frag clip I got as a sniper. But, when I scoped in in the demo, a vertical black line was in the middle of the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'll post pics later.

I have tried completely deleting my cfg, used Lawena recording tool, and used two different versions of the PLDX tool. Nothing worked.

Are you using that "no black border when scoped in" script someone posted here not too long ago? This is what it looked like for me while using it and playing, so I'm assuming it could be that.

I have tried that script before, realised it's stupid, and deleted it. Anyway, I have fully deleted my cfg file 5 times since then.

Edit: Actually farther in the demo it shows characteristics of that script. It is very inconsistent in showing the hud while scoped in.

Have you by any chance tried reloading your hud while watching a demo? I'm not really sure what could be causing this if it happens both with vanilla recording and Lawena. Try backing up your main config, maps, demos and anything else in your tf folder that you think you'll need, then delete the tf folder and let TF2 reinstall it.
