HL, HL2, HL2 episodes, Dishonored (not FPS but still a great first person action), Portal, Fallout New Vegas, F.E.A.R, Doom 2 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Multiplayer FPS games I can think of below $10 off the top of my head:

This is quite interesting. US gov issues visas to League Players as pro athletes so they can compete here.
I know there a few players that teams don't pick up because they couldn't make it to LAN. Hopefully this apply for other games such as Team Fortress 2, and hopefully this is not just a special thing for only the "popular" games.
