Virus ridden HP laptop that my sister gave me that could barely run tf2 at 30 fps. wireless logitech mouse, papasan chair, and the table was only 2ish ft tall, so my legs would press against the bottom of the desk unless i leaned back really far. the laptop also had to hang halfway off the edge of the table to avoid overheating, Used it for about a year or so before i got a real desk/pc

weapon switching problem

mathsadlike #2 said make sure you dont have a gamepad plugged in, and check in the settings that the game isnt set to gamepad mode. if that doesn't work, delete 360controller.cfg in your cfg folder.
if all else fails, verify your game cache.
deleted 360controller.cfg +verified cache and it fixed it

weapon switching problem

recently when i try to change weapons, they all pop up in the middle of the screen like this-

i have to wait a few seconds or click and it will go away, but i cant fire a weapon until it does
at first i thought it was my hud, so i removed it and it obviously still does it
is there a way to put it back to the side like normal? its super distracting
i play on 4:3 1024x768 if that helps
any help is appreciated :D
