#171 TFCL - North American League in Projects
saampine_beetleIt's true he'd be competing with esea but managed correctly it could do really well. Honestly I don't think competing with esea would be very hard if you had the right group of people. Especially if you get highlander the entry fee for that league can go down quite a bit around $10 per player for growth off of the first season.

I don't think there is a sustainable free to play model that will actually work.

I really doubt anyone's ability to compete with esea. CEVO had people who were super knowledgeable about the scene and they still crashed, burned, and fucked over the tf2 scene as a whole.

I was involved with cevo early on. I was going to double or triple the prizepot depending on how registration went. They would not bring the registration fee above $15 (not enough for growth off the first season unless very high registration so I needed them to come up to $20), then after that they said they did not want to compete with esea. This was unacceptable to me so I wished them luck and opted out.

#162 TFCL - North American League in Projects

The free to play model has been a long failed fantasy of the tf2 community. The people that watching tf2 are also the people that play tf2, there's not much attention frog people who play other games. So everyone has to chip in order to make a league that actually works. Free isn't actually free somebody else is taking a big hit with either time or their own money or both. Salamancer, Lange, the fragile... come to mind. If you do this and you go the free to play model you are the one who is going to do a lot of work for basically nothing. If you're okay with that go ahead.

I would encourage you to consider doing pay to play. I did the math years ago and I think the minimum entry fee for a sustainable league was $20 per player and $25 would be best for growth as you can buff up the prize pot to attract more players.

#41 What is the best mouse in Hardware

I used to use the deathadder but had to replace it every year. I use the Zowie ec1 Evo now and it's lasted for years. Really nice mouse.

#32 Job Interview Tips in Off Topic

Main thing is don't be fake. Be ready to learn and ask questions. Everyone joins the workforce as little bitch, just the way things are... you will get the work that the other people don't want to do. If you do everything they give you well and competently, you will move up. If you do a bad job you'll get stuck doing it all the time.

SpaceCadetKanecozheepdummy invented demoman
m8 I think you misspelt ryb

I believe DESTRO predates just about every notable demoman you can list so if anyone defined playing demo at the highest levels, it would be him IMO.

No ryb was the demo who originally took advantage of rollouts ect with Dignitas. Nothing Destro ever did had much influence on how the class is played, all he ever did was lose to carnage and co... B4nny's original claim to fame was fast demo rollouts which made the euros roll their because at that point in time all eu demo's were just as fast/ faster then B4nny.

#34 Ways to discourage stalemating in 5cp in TF2 General Discussion

Could reduce the timer for when a round will reset. More midfights, if you park the bus you would be giving up middle point which favors more offensive play from the losing team.

Pretty much like trying to get people not to camp in cs.

Teams close in skill level have to stalemate.

I am your alt. I don't think you can fake 12 year old steam accounts but who knows maybe I did.

you sound more like someone who would buy a 12 year old account, like the fuccbois in csgo who used to buy low digit steam accounts

prove me wrong, never heard of you, and im old as fuck

That's right unf... I'd spend money to post on here.

More like the on again off again tf2 player.
