the Lakers literally have no chance of making the playoffs at all- coming from a diehard lakers fan too. I don't remember the team being this terrible since 2005 when the team had a Kobe in his prime and a great supporting cast in smush Parker, Chris mihm, and kwame. Now Kobe is older and his supporting cast is almost as bad.

yea there are several online options for watching nba games. league pass is not worth it at all.

I do like the idea of various upgrade options during registration to improve the level of comfort/logistics throughout the LAN. So like Sylon said maybe a chair upgrade, reserved seating, etc.

the man made an informative guide and he clearly spent time doing his research and writing it. No need to fuckin sherlock it and nitpick every detail of his findings. If you don't agree then don't follow his advice, simple as that.

The event was amazing, but here are the things I would like to see for next time:

- Hotels. The Hilton was an absolutely great facility, not too sure about the Hampton but I'm sure it was fine as well. With how many people were staying at both hotels, I'm sure it would be reasonable for the hotels to establish some sort of event discount for people who are attending for GXL.

- Trying to watch the streams of the tournaments (of either the CSGO games or TF2 games) was impossible since Twitch was blocked. I'm assuming that was for bandwidth purposes? But a way to keep track of the events going on around you in the event you couldn't stand behind the players as they went on would be nice. Maybe an exclusive GXL viewing hub through the GXL intranet?

- The chairs were pretty uncomfortable/small.

- I somehow didn't have enough time to meet everyone I wanted. Of course it didn't help that I arrived Friday afternoon, but I know a lot of people felt the same way. I don't know what could be done about that though, as we're trying to pack in so much into ~2 days.

But yeah, this year was great, hopefully we have a similar turnout for 2015.
