#1 Half life series in Other Games

Started grinding the half life series starting with half life 2 and I gotta say it's got stellar game design, as in you feel they nudge you ineed the right direction but not overtly or obviously, and there's like a huge range of genres and atmosphere throughout half life 2, and I certainly had a sense of fear and adrenaline. One time I was in raven Holm amd I pressed a button waiting for the elevator to come up while there were like super fast header about skeletons waiting outside, and I was thinking to myself " I don't want to go down". Also I do find half life 2 to be challenging even if you crank it down to easy, since you have to experiment and discover the Buyoncy, and just the general physic engine. One thing that I probably struggled with the most is the heat seeking missiles, since I probably still don't understand inside and out the rocket launcher physics well, so I would just poker face when I shoot a rocket at a plane in a lighthouse and all of a sudden I would die. Idk what to say anymore l, ugh 10/10 would play again and try to speedrun it.
Edit: made this post cause I stayed up all night playing half life 2. I'll share my thoughts later, no one wants to probably hear it and It'll probably end up in the dumpster.

lolhl indeed, I would like for that money to go to 6v6, investing money into highlander lan is futile, when there's integrated 6v6 competitive from valve.

dragon24xFreestate is good. Muma is horrible and has terrible role outs. They need to bring blaze back.

Muma is a solid player, but the roll outs man.

#153 tftv safe space (no harassment plz) in Off Topic

I'm sorry I ruined this venting and sharing post into a political topic, with me talking about Koreans turning into conservative protestant Christians, because it meet's their needs. I sexually harassed a girl once in school, and I probably made her feel really uncomfortable and I would smh in shame.

owlchurch doesnt have to be a bad thing

even if you aren't religious, you can use that time to meditate

i don't identify as catholic anymore but i still go to a mass or two every couple months just to meditate.

as for the rest of what you said, welcome to being a teenager. take solace in the fact that basically every teen on earth goes through the same stuff, especially after relocating.

Korean immigrants go to church with a bunch of other koreans cause it has a community aspect, job opportunities, community, going to other parts of the world and doing dangerous missionary, but adventurous work. Free meals prepared if you don't have anything or sick. most korean's are atheist, infact I think half of the korean population is atheist, but once they come to america, more than half of the korean american population is christian, including catholic denomination. Even though there's homophobia and the church pushing creationism, I still go to church to go do camping, canoeing, or do fun stuff with other korean peeps. I just sit and play the game and take what I can from it.
