#28 Introducing TFTV+ in News

5 bucks a month seems a little steep considering what`s been offered...

I like it. Looks much prettier, camera is more functional, that tool bar that flips up from the bottom is extremely useful, search is easier, and being able to access the calendar anytime is dope too. Overall good upgrade.

BTW, I realize Android could already do all that and more. Save your need to feel superior for someone else.

#10 The ruleset. in TF2 General Discussion

Have to say, I grew to really like the Euro ruleset watching i49. The 30-minute limit does encourage losing teams to be more aggressive, it's fun to watch. Matches are shorter and having a defined end time is also good for casting, etc. Kinda disappointed that they're changing to NA (I think?).

But I do like the NA system of having a halftime to regroup and try to make a comeback. Maybe two 20-minute halves can be a compromise? Total match time increases to a not-too-long 40 minutes (plus a half time) and you get best of both worlds.

THANKS a lot. Was impossible to keep with teams dying and players moving around.

#254 ESEA S15 NA Invite Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion
LiterallyAPandaI think what happened was he made what was originally an off-hand comment or not particularly heated. When people started challenging him, he began to get more defensive and aggressive in defending his stance.

Understandable. Happens all the time.

Concrete blends in better but I liked your theory about RED taking over BLU's base and building their own control points so I vote for wooden spire.

Looks like all the roster changes ended up improving "bp" quite a bit.

#22 Thoughts on expanding TFTV NA casts into s15--> in TF2 General Discussion

Whatever you decide on just make sure to stick to a schedule. As a viewer it really helps knowing exactly when I can tune in to always see a game being casted.

#15 Sorry in TF2 General Discussion
PlatinumPriorities

Definitely. But maybe time constraints too? I think they got back from ESEA LAN Monday then left for i49 Wednesday.

alfunksoLet us just be the bigger men and recognize that they were better instead of digging up explanations of the like "we would've won if". gg wp yurop

My first sentence says Euros were better. I'm just thinking what needs to change for next year.

#12 Sorry in TF2 General Discussion

Full credit to the Euros, they were clearly more prepared and deserved to win. But I have to think HRG's schedule played a part. They JUST came off ESEA LAN (including weeks of preparation) with a decidedly different meta with the Quick Fix. Then they had zero practice with the Euro rule set and jumped straight into i49. Remember half their team never played Euro rules before.

It's kind of the reverse of the situation at i46. NA teams were well-prepared and focused and maybe surprised the Euros a little bit. This time the EU teams (and iM!, sucks they went out like that) came ready and caught out HRG.
