this needs to be stickied otherwise too hard too find everytime someone has a question ...
im trying to use the hud_combattextbatching stuff but like other people it gets confusing to see the actual damage done at the time of the shot and i had this idea to turn the batching on but invert the hud damage values positions, the last damage that stays near the hp value goes to the center and the damage that shows above the player stays on the bottom, keeping the actual damage shots in the center of the screen and if you want to see the total ammount of damage just look at the damage value near the hp value/cross, but i can´t seem to get rid of the pop up animation on the damage and the numbers float arounds they dont stay on the same spot when u move, my question is how do i get rid of that animation/floating stuff ?

Using math. The easiest way to do it is to set your health and ammo boxes to have the same ypos, wide, and tall values, and the relevant controls to also have the same ypos, wide, tall, and textalignment values. This will ensure that they are vertically level.
I usually do it with the heavy cause it uses 300hp and 300 as ammo values making the numbers even and easier to allign from the crosshair

That hud is rly good i just don´t like the target id seems a bit bigger and obtrusive, i know u haven´t mod them from the original but imo might be a good thing to change
LOL i also changed some other stuff too, its hard to show all the mods on one pic, but the default medhud looks like a clusterfuck imo (speccially the medic hud parts), and i made it a bit more playable hopefully and reverted some of the things to rays hud

I think its about time valve does something about this, most tf2 crosshairs suck cause theyre too thin or poorly visible, the dot looks like a losangle ffs... hud crosshairs might be an alternative but they still suck if u use different crosshairs on different classes.
It would be nice to see a thickness option or an outline one or brighter colours

updated the hud i use, PVHUD to the new update stuff, thought id share it
its slighly modded and has a shitty minmode centered hp and ammo, it works fine i guess
darker background on scoreboards
minmode
bigger uber data font
supports killstreak, eureka effect and taunt menus
added damage and support to scoreboards
bunch of hud crosshairs
has the uber tracking mod (the percentage on the ubers thing)
changed the spectator tournament thing to something more visible
If anyone finds any bugs or something that i´ve might have missed from the update pm me and ill update it
