#5 Picking Up Your Mouse (Scout) in TF2 General Discussion
spammyI have 20in/360 (50cm) on scout and I'm also forced to recenter my mouse ever since it gets away to the edge of my mousepad. It does feel weird to me as well, but I already got used to it - been using that sens for a while, so it's not a big problem for me. For how long you've been using that setup and sens? Have you been trying to change your grip to the mouse? Solution could be either changing your sens or changing the way you hold your mouse.

okay cool, i've been using it about 1.5 weeks now. i think i like the sens, but can you elaborate on what you mean by the grip on the mouse? i think i hold it somewhat loosely, with my fingers, my whole palm not entirely on the mouse.

enigmaas far as I know everyone does this

oh hey enigma, big fan! so picking up to recenter constantly is a normal behavior?

#1 Picking Up Your Mouse (Scout) in TF2 General Discussion

Hey all,

I'm one of those newbies who has begun the quest of finding his perfect mouse sensitivity. I am currently using a Logitech G400S mouse and a PureTrak Stealth mousepad to play TF2. My sensitivity is at about 20 cm/360 degrees (which I think is about average?). I main scout, and even after these changes to my sensitivity, mouse, and larger pad, I still find that I need to pick up my mouse to recenter, especially when I need to do a 180 towards my left direction and then shoot from there. Often times, my arm will be in a very cramped and awkward position (very close to my keyboard if not banging it) unless I pick up the mouse to recenter. Even when doing a 180 towards my right and shooting from there, it feels awkward as heck with my arm so far from my body. Anyone else experience this at some point and have any tips?

Thanks so much!

#12 Making TF2 gfx more HD in Customization

Kaneco, would you recommend just using Chris' high quality cfg or Comanglia's max FPS for high quality PC config then?

Okay cool, I'll try out Chris'. Comanglia's looks pretty solid, do I just copy and paste that whole thing or only the commands?

Thanks for the replies guys. Is Chris' max quality/high quality config still viable? He said he hasn't updated anything since 2012.

#1 Making TF2 gfx more HD in Customization

Hey all,

Newbie here in terms of cfg tweaking. I was watching this demo the other day, and couldn't help but notice how pristine the player's TF2 looks compared to mine. I have a pretty high end gaming laptop, with all the settings in the basic TF2 options set to highest, but mine looks nothing like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQUzjO1WzsQ

Is there a specific high definition/quality fps cfg he is using or something? I did some diggin, and don't know what is up to date and could make TF2 look this sleek and clean.

Any help would be great!

Hey all, new member here. I've been trying to figure out if this HUD is still available/updated and which one it is actually. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
