I know this sounds really weird, but enough spots will be bought out, just not by the traditional e-sport organizations that you would normally expect. The primary issue here I feel, is if investors will find their investments into teams worthwhile, which we will eventually see.
Supposedly Blizzard has restricted tournaments from happening recently aside from APEX and APAC, I have a feeling they're going to try to monopolize the tournament scene with an advanced infrastructure imitating actual sports; this would have happened eventually, as it has with traditional sports in the past.
It's just natural progression really, this is the next big step, and I hope Blizzard manages it well. Makes complete sense with their buyout of MLG last year.
If you read the article without any sense of what is actually going on in Overwatch, you're probably going to develop a terrible interpretation.
I just find the notion to ban "assault weapons" outright kind of ridiculous when the vast bulk of these weapons aren't the ones used to commit homicides. Even though I cited 3% of all homicides in 1993 were committed with rifles, half of them could very well have been bolt-action sporting rifles. In evidence lockers throughout the nation right now, plenty of the weapons involved in homicides are very budget minded and cheap pistols such as hi-points, etc. seems to indicate that there are socioeconomic factors at play.
If you were to remove several of the gang violence hotspots throughout the nation I can guarantee that our homicide rate would be more in line with that of other nations.
mustardoverlorda blanket assault weapon ban is necessary.

The FBI's Supplemental Homicide
Reports show that 57% of all murders
in 1993 were committed with handguns,
3% with rifles, 5% with shotguns,
and 5% with firearms where the type
was unknown.
1993 I know, but the case still stands. The only issue I can see with "assault weapons" is the maximized amount of damage they can do, in which case a ban on larger magazines would suffice enough.
"Assault weapon" just goes to show how much mainstream media you eat up, fearmongering term.
tbh im pretty happy seeing sjws getting triggered and buttblasted

AvastWhy did this short portray him as batman??????
Why not show his Overwatch days in the Omnic war shit, or him fighting Talon and Reaper his old buddy.
In fact that entire skit would have been fine if they had replaced 76 with Lucio as it actually fits his character.
Why the fuck is he batman....
soldier 76 wasn't around in the overwatch days, his name then was different along with a different appearance/persona

reaper already had a fair bit of presence in the first animated short
76 is a vigilante and this short portrays that pretty accurately

I don't think that's a hard conclusion to come to considering how lax UGC was with bans compared to the ratio that ETF2L gave out at the time.
AxiomaticStop being little fucking children and caring about your reputation on an electronic gaming league that's literally pointless to care about.
