Holy shit, Smitty without internet issues is gonna pound.

Smitty is one of the chillest people I’ve ever met. He’s worked hard and improved so much during the time we played together and I know he’ll put in WORK on any team that picks him up.

Impressed the fuck out of me when we played together at RGB. Hit some crazy shots and put out a lot of damage against some pretty good teams, and was a cool person to hang out with too.

Pelipper, Toxicroak, Ferrothorn, Ludicolo is the start of a pretty solid Rain setup. Pretty much every other okay Swift Swimmer is dead except, like, Qwilfish and Seismitoed lol, but there’s still Specs Keldeo and Crawdaunt.

Crawdaunt is an option for wallbreaking. Knocking off Toxapex Shed Shell means you can trap it, and almost all of its old checks are gone - Gyarados-M, Mawile-M, Koko, Lele, Bulu, Tangrowth, Serperior, Kartana, Lopunny-M, Breloom, Scizor...Banded Adaptability Crabhammer and Knock Off is really scary-looking this gen.

Banded Terrakion also punches big holes in stall. Terrakion is very happy Lando, Gliscor, Scizor, and almost every good Fairy were banned, and it doesn’t have to compete with Lopunny-M, Medicham-M, or Hawlucha under Terrain anymore.

Tyranitar + Excadrill, who has SD and can Iron Head Clefable, can probably do a lot against stall, although idk how it deals with Skarmory 2.0.

Mamoswine will shred a Toxapex+Ferrothorn core, too. Banning Scizor and Breloom might give it more survivability, although it suffers from banning Lando, Gliscor, Chomp, and some other dragons I’m forgetting about probably, there isn’t as much strong priority -Crawdaunt, Mamo, Bisharp, Lucario, and Weavile are the standouts.

Similarly, Diggersby is going to have a field day against stall once new Skarmory is killed.

On another note, I find it interesting that almost every good Defogger is gone. The only ones left I can see are Rotom-W, if it exists, Togekiss and Hydreigon, who already have massive 4MSS, and maybe Mew or Mandibuzz. Meanwhile, Excadrill is a great Rapid Spin user, and Cloyster is pretty okay too.

@reako Sableye lost its mega and is now worthless. Xatu and Espeon are still around though.

Hi, everyone. I'm really rusty, but I might have the time to play.

I played low Invite for 3 seasons and IM for like 10. I got 3rd/4th in IM once, and first place at RGB on Medic. In Highlander, I got 2nd as Medic and 3rd as Soldier.

+I make a lot of calls.
+I practice a lot.
+5 ping to Chicago.

+/- I’m rusty, but I used to have low Invite Soldier DM that was good at 1v1ing Scouts on the flank and falling on top of Medics / Demos, but bad at 1v1ing Soldiers.

-My rocket jumps are passable at best.
-I'm bad at adapting to things on the fly unless I'm specifically told to do something.
-I tend to play / call less aggressive in matches vs things I don't care about.

I’m looking to play roamer for an Invite or Advanced team. I might try Pocket if you’re desperate, but I don’t like it as much and don’t know the role half as well.

I'm available pretty much every day. I do sub for a plat HL team, but I'll prioritize 6s scrims over HL scrims - just not 6s scrims over HL matches.
