Mount and Blade Bannerlord is coming out soon, If your into RPG games that is. Know this is a thread about what to buy now but if you can save any amount of $ for it its really looking to be an upgrade or even better than the original mount and blade games.

Dishonored 2 is like 40$, from what I hear there's a good amount of optimization problems but other than that good game

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games on are sale.

And if you own Skyrim which it very likely is on sale, buy it, don't play the actual game and install this for it instead

I don't follow asia fortress at all but from what I can understand there likely isn't. I haven't heard at all about an asian team coming to any TF2 lan, well ever. Its possible but not likely AFAIK.

I was hanging out with a friend of mine and he introduced me to, booted it up on the PC and had me play the tutorial and later that summer we played together a ton. Pubbing ect.

Probably G-Sync, although looking at some of the prices of monitors that support G-Sync their pretty damn pricey. Want to have some $ left over so I guess that begs the question to anyone who thinks G-Sync is worth it. Even if it is as long as the jump to a normal 144HZ is still what people say it is w/o G-Sync I think I'll end up getting a normal 144 since I don't feel comfortable dropping that much 350+$ on a monitor to play shooters more smoothly.

From what I'm seeing it seems possible. A TN panel 144 and a 1060 is a bit over $400 and I'm fine with that. Still within budget mostly but as I said not too sure if I really even need a GPU upgrade.

Already got an SSD. Most powerful game(s) would either have to be The Witcher 3 (with a few shading mods) with a cranked up resolution with nvidia DSR or a heavily modded elder scrolls / fallout game. I'm mostly fine with my GPU but I originally was just going to get a 144HZ but it seems my budget this year is higher than usual so that 400$ minus whatever a 144 will cost will likely not all be spent on steam games. Really looking to get a 144HZ monitor with a 1-5ms response time, 1080x1920, and if possible 20 or more inches.
I can't decide what to do for my actual build though, I got an i5 3570 @3.4GHZ and a 970.
Basically a monitor with the specifications I listed above and a new piece of hardware altogether under 400$.
Really haven't been keeping up to date info wise on any of the new hardware so I'm stumped as to what would work here.

I've played with console a good amount through pugs, subbing, and played with him a few times on a serious team. He's very level headed and certainly has come a long way. He's definitely got a brain, is a vocal player, and is a dedicated player. Strong pickup for a team looking to break their bubble status in open so long as the environment is right and is practically bound to improve with players who share the same goal.

My experience with Thing2 is surmountable to him hitting his shots and being vocal (sometimes a bit too much). I think he makes questionable plays, and is unpolished as a player. But with a team that's really going to commit he'll move forward with you and grow as a player. So give this chill dude some tryouts.
