I have a new laptop and trying to get tf2 running. I would like to run tf2 at 854 by 480 but when I run it windowed my mouse cursor leaves the window a lot. This didnt happen on my old pc, tried out some cursor lock programs but wasnt really a fan. Is there a way to fix this?

I then tried running at 854 by 480 in full screen (through launch options) but when I do my tf2 just instead becomes 4:3 with black bars on either side. It is a 16:9 laptop, I can't fathom why this is happening.

Launch Options:

My computer is being sold tomorrow and I want to completely clean it out so there is no trace of me on it i.e. no stored passwords, caches, documents etc. I have a windows 7 .iso and have gotten the product key out of my os with a third party program, if I reinstall with that product key will it remove everything from my hard drive? Should I do something else before I reinstall or afterwards? Have backed up what I need to back up already.
