better to ask on r/truetf2 where people discuss highlander sometimes. generally as scout you hold the flank computer room with your soldier and basically don't have any fun, and on offense get cap time on E while dying a lot. if you're good at scout you can also run around killing everything while you do this

#86 is wrong faceit before tf2pl was even worse than tf2center. it has vastly improved but it was never designed for high level play

something like 25 percent of my amateur pugs have been ruined by beginner captains. once it was me, because it didn't occur to me that my priority would transfer. pretty annoying, since like two losses get you kicked back down to beginner. such a strange system overall.

i painfully climbed out of beginner pocketing for pub medics and my reward for that was having to wait twice as long for a pug in amateur. not exactly the system's fault but still doesn't make any sense as an incentive.

edit: to be fair i'd just be getting fatkidded in pugchamp ~60 percent of the time, but it seems like some hybrid could work.
