sick game tbh

depends, theres a good mix of absolute nutters and people who have just installed the game, the discord has a /very/ active community so u can always hop on and ask for duels of ur own skill level

a lot of the ideas like double jumps and air control are the same but theyre implemented fairly badly.

theres more emphasis on movement with the addition of quakeworld (or tf2/cs/hl) style air control, double jumping etc. the weapon switch speeds are reduced by a large amount which allows for comboing, health buff on spawn is removed (i.e. you spawn on 100 rather than the 125 you get in in ql) and the rail is reduced to 80 damage in order to stop 1 hit spawn railing. a lot of the other weapons are tweaked and the game timer on screen doesnt show seconds which makes timing items a matter of skill and experience as opposed to doing basic maths in your head mid duel (there is still a second timer in ctf/ctfs etc.)

aside from all that there are many other small tweaks which make the game less campy and faster paced than ql, such as the removal of footstep sounds.

with an active community on discord in both NA and EU, youre always more than welcome to ask if people would like to play it.
