Sure, but just from the point of view of quality for the audience. Sal is a nice guy, DJC is entertaining, but for actual insight bl4nk blows them out of the water.

LanterNI find 90 fov perfect for TF2. I don't understand why you need to have it any higher than that.
Depends on class a lot. For medic a higher fov is really useful. For scout in 1v1 I flick a switch to 65 fov and low sens, it helps a lot.

I think ESEA would have shown you by example not to create your own client. Copy etf2l in this regard.

For a few weeks things were looking good for TF2 but then some invite players lost sight of the big picture. Brad, Tagg, et al, you've got to wake up and look around.

Europe has several groups like this. One event a day and then any number of announcements is fine, btw. You'll find it a huge energy drain unless you can make it self-sustaining with competent deputies and not having to individually ask people. For the same reason, consider holding them at the same time every day, at least until they gain momentum. People are very cattle-ish: individually wary and timid but herdable in larger numbers, though capable of stampeding, and treated well they produce the most delicious tender cuts.
That's why I'm wanting to get an advantage by studying demos... which no longer work.
Does anyone have any working invite demos that aren't on viaduct? I really want to understand what counts as an advantage.
