played in highlander as a medic. anyone who can tolerate that shit fest as medic for multiple seasons has my respect. really good guy and player who's eager to compete
i used this cru utility to create a custom resolution (1440x720).

then messed with the monitor settings so it wasnt stretched vertically, that gives me the black bars on the top and bottom
whenever i game i go through nvidia control panel to change the resolution to 1440x720 and whenever im not gaming i go back to my default resolution.

Thank all of you guys for the suggestions, but unfortunately none of them have worked. We've tried restarting his pc, updating windows, different versions of mumble, reinstalling tf2, verifying his game cache, launching tf2 from client without his autoexec, and reinstalling client about 40 times.

every time my teammate connects to the server, it kicks him about 30 seconds after hes in and it says he must be running esea client. this isnt the first time ive seen this issue arise, however ive never had it myself so i dont know how to fix it. anyone whos experienced this, could you give us some suggestions on how to fix it?
