_idiot was from a troll account on gotfrag named flame_idiot, flame later decided to make that his team name. For meatshot you'd have to ask hong, as he was the originator of the term. Never head reptiles but it is probably because he was pretty good at the game.
Honestly there are so many inside jokes in the TF2 community from the gotfrag days, I feel bad for anyone who wasn't apart of it.
I feel like I follow almost every competitive game / gaming scene out there but I play none of them. Well except for Dota, but I don't like what I become when I play it...

There are 55 000 students at York. Yes there are some attractive girls.
Commuter school, awful community, no space to do anything, unsafe, strikes, just an all around unenjoyable school. So much so that I decided to do my undergrad and masters there.
as long as you aren't going to York, you've made the right decision.
If you want to make a comparison to sports, the majority of fans don't give a shit about minor league highlights, and would probably never watch one. If it is something truly amazing then it will get its attention outside of the normal highlight reels. I don't see why it shouldn't be strictly invite.
It is pretty evident from past top 10's that you can't rely on the majority of the players to submit their frags. Just make a thread for each top 10 month, people watching matches can post to the thread with what happened and the approximate time. The posts with the most +frags are probably good. If someone posts in the thread and the clip they mentioned is in the video, then give them a shout out in the video (or some forum / item incentives). Win-win imo.
