#11 120hz Help in Hardware
frkngl i used mini display port to display port and had the issue above

Or if the mini port is the problem, what if I just use a male vga to female dvi-d converter? Do you think that would prevent the loss of frames? And from there use a duel link dvi-d male to male cord?

How many frames were you getting before using the monitor compared to the frames after?

#6 120hz Help in Hardware

Great! So get that cord and I should be good to go right? This is the monitor I use. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ That would work fine, correct?

This is my graphics card, no problems with that either?

#1 120hz Help in Hardware

Got an Alienware m14x r2 (yeah i know laptop scrub race) it's got a mini display port in it, so if I get a mini display port to DVI-D adapter:
http://www.amazon.com/Accell-B087B-006B-DisplayPort-Single-Link-Certified/dp/B004071ZXA/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1385081490&sr=8-6&keywords=mini+displayport+to+dvi-d

Then use my male to male dual link DVI-D to get 120hz on my 120hz monitor?
Or is there an easier way? Like using a mini displayport to displayport cable?

#1 Friction and Arm Aim in Hardware

I am with my arm, 10in/360. My arm has too much friction when aiming. I've tried using random rags, or torn window sheets, nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

#21 Different Sens for Hitscan and Projectile in Q/A Help
Atrocitydr_insaneI think my main question is being misinterpreted. I'm not asking for preferences on sensitivities, I just want to know if keeping my sensitivity/dpi/360 the same for every single class will be beneficial in the long run if I get used to it?In my opinion, yes.

If you have different sensitivities per class, for example, that's NINE different muscle memory you need to build up. Like at this point, you instinctively know "if I move my mouse this much, my crosshair goes this much" but with different sensitivities, you're going to have to do some extra of "Okay, for Soldier, if I move a little bit, I do a 360...okay for Scout if I move a little bit...I hardly move at all", etc. In your situation of hitscan and projectile, that can also throw you off. "Okay, my Rocket Launcher is out, I can do easy flicks with little movement...okay I took out the Shotgun, now I need to move my mouse A LOT to kill that Scout".

So in short, yes same sensitivity because it's just one thing to get used to. In the end, as long as your sensitivity is COMFORTABLE to you, then go crazy. If you have to really hurt your wrist to play Soldier or whatever, then that is a little concerning. Of course, if you decide to have a different sensitivity per class (or in your case, per hitscan and projectile) it can still work as you will eventually develop the muscle memory for the different types of weapons, but I personally recommend staying with one comfortable sensitivity.

I mainly had two before, one for projectile classes, and one for hitscan. But from what I hear the best possible thing to do is to just go with one.

Drewdr_insanehpqoeu10 inch isnt that much? use your arm instead of your wrist
I do use my arm.
Use it more. I've been playing at 9in for longer than I can remember.

My arm isn't the problem, I can aim fine as scout and stuff, I am wondering whether or not it is worth the trouble of swinging my arm a mile to rocket jump to to make flick shots as solly, with my sens, or should I have it different for projectile classes like solly.

#8 Different Sens for Hitscan and Projectile in Q/A Help
capnfapnI use a 13 inch sens and main scout. I'm not the greatest jumper but I've never felt like my sensitivity has effected my jumping. You should be fine as long as your mousepad is wide enough for you to swing your mouse around comfortably.

So you're saying it is a good idea to keep my sens the same for everything then, right?

reillyMaybe you just need a bigger mousepad?
I main scout as well with a 10in/360, and I play every other class fine on it.

Well I CAN rocket jump, I have a 14in mousepad, I just mean I have to swing my arm a mile each time to make what should be quick flixs.

#1 Different Sens for Hitscan and Projectile in Q/A Help

I've heard that it's a good idea to use the same sens all around. But I have a 10in/360 because I main scout, I don't even know how I can rocket jump with that. Is it a good idea to keep my mouse sens the same for everything? Or should I just use a smaller (3in/360) for all of my projectile classes with configs?

EDIT: Will keeping my sensitivity/dpi/360 the same for every single class will be beneficial in the long run if I get used to it?
EDIT2: I've made my decision to keep the same sens, thanks a ton for your comments!
