#27 rktK1NG LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

Every pre-season I've talked with rkt so far, he gets denied tryouts and whatnot for the reputation he built through his 1000+ pugs, but I think he deserves more than that. Luckily, he was picked up last season but he ended up not playing medic and as friendly and amazing the Portland Burnsiders are, I don't think it was the most ideal team for rkt to improve on. I think all his pugs by now he has proven his strengths (as well as weaknesses) to a lot of the community (at least to those who also pugs). The point of a tryout is to see if the person will work well with the team anyways, so I don't see the harm in trying rkt out whether in open nor IM. I also don't think there's a need to try to tear him down by saying he's not IM-ready when all he wants it's a more competitive environment he can learn from.

edit: 2000+ pugs*

#82 LFP high open s28 in Recruitment (looking for players)

Sorry to intrude on any conversation going on here but I believe all these arguments happening are extremely rude to boxcar. No matter how "bad" she may be as a player, it is her own team with players who agreed to play with her. And as a team leader there is nothing wrong to wish or want your own team to reach a skill level higher than expected. Even if this team may have been mid-open, they still have all the potential to improve and become high open. I understand all the points Slice pointed out, but I believe a lot of boxcar's team dying or not working out was out of her control. Also, she has been playing on low-open teams where I don't think she was given the room to improve. It's better that she plays with players better than her to help her in that case. But now that her "carry" is gone anyways, there should be no further conversation about it. I believe all these comments could have been messaged and talked out with her directly instead of having to be put out publicly. And as GrapeJuice pointed out, there's no need for the discussion of who else is LFT on someone else's LFP thread.

With that said, I still believe boxcar deserves a great team. She's been a kind person since I've met her and she is dedicated to TF2.

Lovely player; sweet and dedicated to TF2. She did a great job at LAN as well. Would be a great pick up, won't regret. :)

I've been saying this since last season, but seriously, boxcar deserves a great team that lives for the whole season.
She is super nice and fun to be with.
As for Slan, I love her. She's sweet and she's trying her own things to improve.
Seems like a friendly and sweet roster they are gathering so far.

go boxcar!

#37 rewind 2 shoutouts in TF2 General Discussion

Shoutout to my team for taking care of everything while I was gone.
Shoutout to Frenzy for subbing in for me.

Shoutout to Feces for organizing things for me so that I had somewhere to stay and be safe for sure. :)
Shoutout to Sideways Whoopi Goldberg, Tatuwah, and BIG CAT for allowing me to stay at their room last minute and being so kind.

Shoutout to all the teams that have participated and to all individual players (Moof gets a special shoutout ♡).
- Shoutout to SVIFT and Velocity for letting me join in for their dinner because I was left alone at the venue first day with a dead phone... :’(

Shoutout to the audience (on stream and at LAN) for making the matches exciting and great (special shout out to the Ascent girlfriends for being so loud and to RandomCookie because you’re always supporting TF2 ♡).

Shoutout to all the people who took a selfie with me because I didn’t have any mousepads for people to sign on. :p And to all those who let me record videos of them saying “I love [friend’s username]” (all my friends loved it, thank you for even adding a kiss at the end, Samiface).

And lastly, shoutout to EVERYONE who made Rewind 2 possible and happen!
Although I kinda got out of control sometimes, I had an amazing weekend and hope everyone else did as well!
I hope everyone is having a safe and nice flight back home!
