having your scouts and soldiers wear the same hats can make it harder for the other team to communicate and identify your individual players. not wearing a hat is an easy way to accomplish that.
The thin fonts used in this HUD are unsuitable for streaming because they compress badly, particularly in the killfeed.
swattA small hint that I have is to always turn up your headphones to the maximum volume it can go to, then to turn your audio down using window's volume control.
Where are you turning up your headphones?
If you just bought a new motherboard and are still using an AMD socket then an i5 isn't possible for you. You might do ok with an X6 1060T or something like that.
What happened with this one? http://keekerdc.com/2011/11/further-work-on-the-hud/hl2-2011-11-13-20-42-04-39/ Something like that would be pretty distinctive. Right now the peripheral presentation stuff seems to be a bit behind the quality of the games and commentators.
