The polar bear is an apex predator at the top of the food chain, it would fuck that gorilla in half.
Explanation:
Doesn't matter that the gorilla is more intelligent, the polar bear has the predator instinct needed to rip that gorilla apart in under half a minute. And regarding to a post above, gorilla's try to intimidate their opponents, where as polar bears just jump at their victims without a second thought.
enigmathe casters do already get paid by ESEA (almost enough to cover the costs of flights)
I think the problem is that there isn't enough of a benefit to having the casters on location that warrants having to deal with setup/logistics on site
I see, I was just thinking it's more beneficial overall for the community (not that beneficial for ESEA) to re-direct those donation money to the casters instead of the teams.
Makes sense that it's a hassle to set all of this up, I remember how much production went into the CS:GO casting last LAN.
Since the idea of donating money to LAN teams seems to be losing interest and create arguments within the community, why not create a donation fund to send casters to the next LAN instead?
From what I remember, ESEA would like to have TF2 casted on-site but they don't want to cover the travel costs of the casters. So in the interest of the community and creating a bigger viewership, why not send two of our casters to the next LAN and have TF2 properly promoted (live updates about matches, team/individual interviews, etc)? That way, future LAN's might benefit from more support from the league (maybe attracting sponsors if implemented efficiently by ESEA).
Thoughts? Might sound like a dumb idea at first, but I think with the proper support of the community this could possibly work really well in our advantage.
hanbroloTl;DR All of this is alfa's fault.
