Hey, been back to TF2 for a month now. Looking to join a team as a Pocket, but willing to play Roamer.
I do a lot of review and dm to practice, I'm pretty motivated to get back to where I used to be gameplay wise. Looking for a like-minded team with some proactive and positive players. I would prefer to be the main caller, but don't have to if someone is already good at it.
Back when I did play I was mid-high open, so I assume that puts me around low-mid open currently. Not sure, don't know many people in the scene anymore.

In my opinion, Ryzen isnt optimal for gaming yet. Games dont get full use of all cores so ryzen ends up being most noticeable with browsing, rendering, and streaming.

I think i5 is plenty to get good numbers and visuals in any game. a 1060 or 1070 is best price/performance ratio but if your friend really needs to have the extra frames from a 1080, go ahead and drop the extra $$$. The motherboard is plenty for someone who doesnt know much about computers, it has enough ports and can overclock an i5.

Rainman is dedicated wants to finish out hte season and create a team thats going to go into the next one strong.

Klicka is one of the chillest people from that team. Played with him the whole season and was impressed with his level of knowledge, maturity, and ability to take and give criticism.

He's an ex-IM player, and although that shows in his gamesense, his DM isnt quite there.
He's got a new computer now, compared to his old 2003 Dell I think it's a big upgrade and expect his DM to grow fast with his new shit.

Schrute Farms had a bit of a bumpy road this past season, losing exactly half the team going into this next season.

Ego, our medic, left to put more effort into work and schooling. RIP Ego.
Ulty, our roamer, left to pursue other hobbies and school work, RIP Ulty.
Dane, our demo, left to tryout for higher level teams.

However, the other half would like to continue playing TF2 with each other and a few new dudes. We did not make playoffs last season, and while that might put off a lot of potential tryouts, I can say that we definitely have the drive and motivation to do that much better and secure ourselves a spot in playoffs come s19.
